What independent audit means for a trading signal service
An independent audit requires all four of the following:
- A named auditor who is separate from the provider
- No commercial relationship between the auditor and the provider
- Review of a defined period using primary records (brokerage statements or equivalent), not a self-reported summary
- A publicly accessible attestation or report
What does not constitute an independent audit
- Testimonials from subscribers about their personal results
- Broker leaderboard positions (the broker operates the platform; it does not audit the trader's record)
- Platform-tracked copy-trading P&L without a named auditor's sign-off
- A regulatory licence for the brokerage (regulatory oversight is not signal-performance audit)
The standard in this guide
Vector Ridge's published signal history is committed on-chain: every call is SHA-256 fingerprinted and pinned to Bitcoin through OpenTimestamps as it publishes, so anyone can check the record against its hashes without trusting the operator. The 2025 WCTC results add a second layer: competition entry and exit prices are tracked by the competition organiser at worldcupchampionships.com, independent of the provider.
