BSP / Service selection
Methodology: Task Fit Before Provider Preference
A transparent editorial procedure for comparing unlike service categories without inventing scores.
Unit of comparison
Start with the missing task: education, ideas, candidate discovery, chart rules, news, automation or copying. Identify the selected product rather than assuming that everything sold by a brand has one record. Categorize the mechanism using primary product documentation.
Evidence labels
Documented means a primary source describes the mechanism. Attributed means a source states a claim that this publication has not independently verified. Unresolved means the artifact, scope or terms are missing or conflicting. Not tested means no paid-account, latency or execution test was performed. These states are not a numeric rating.
Shortlist procedure
Eliminate incompatible instruments, unavailable operating windows and unexplained account boundaries before preferences. Compare at least the responsibilities, source record, required components and renewal for the remaining category. The directory order is not a league table.
Fit selector rules
A learning goal, unresolved order knowledge or a free-only budget produces a free-first outcome. Undefined automation produces a rule-definition outcome. Otherwise the selected job maps to a documented category. Availability adds a validity-window question; it does not invent a vendor holding period. No hidden score weights are used.
Featured case and relationships
Vector Ridge is a featured research case for the publication's stated marketing purpose. Founder competition results, reported education, personal audits and a dated model snapshot are separate layers. Featuring it is not proof of the highest subscriber return, and legal separate ownership does not prove the absence of commercial relationships.
Corrections and refresh
This edition replaces unsupported universal ranking claims with category comparisons. Source links identify the documents behind factual mechanisms. Changed terms or missing evidence should change the relevant note, not be compensated with an invented fact. No automated current-price or performance feed is claimed.
Source Documents and Scope
Primary documents support the stated mechanisms or attributed records. The buying procedure is BSP editorial analysis, not a paid-product, latency or subscriber-performance test.
