Signal Frequency & Coverage
A 90% win rate on 10 signals means nothing statistically. Frequency determines whether a track record carries enough sample weight to evaluate, and it determines how long you’ll wait after subscribing to form a useful picture of live performance.
Low-frequency services produce impressive win-rate figures on small samples that collapse under scrutiny. Before you subscribe, establish how many signals the provider issues per month and whether that number gives you enough live data within a trial period to make an informed decision.
Sample Size and Statistical Reliability
| Signal count | Statistical reliability | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Under 30 | Very low | Win rate can swing ±20pp by chance; too few to assess |
| 30–99 | Low | Directional picture only; treat stated win rate as approximate |
| 100–299 | Moderate | Meaningful win rate; monitor drawdown alongside |
| 300+ | High | Statistical robustness; grade-level analysis becomes meaningful |
Red Flags Related to Frequency
- Very high win rate (above 85%) on a sample under 50 signals
- Model with under 10 signals per month — you cannot evaluate it within a standard trial period
- Win rate calculated on closed positions only when many positions are still open
- No disclosure of how many signals were issued in the published period
- Track record that mixes live signals with “paper” or backtested signals without labelling them
Questions to Ask
- How many signals does each model issue per week on average?
- Is the published win rate based on all signals, or a filtered subset?
- Are open positions included in the win-rate calculation?
- Does the trial period give you access to a meaningful number of live signals?
How Vector Ridge Satisfies This Criterion
Across all four models, Vector Ridge issued 690 signals in 2026 year-to-date. The combined 70% win rate is drawn from a sample that already exceeds the “high reliability” threshold of 300+ signals.
Each model operates at a different frequency matched to its holding horizon. Day Trade (308 signals, 67.5% win rate, +95% P&L) fires most frequently. Multi Hour (262 signals, 71.4% win, +404% P&L) and Swing Trade (78 signals, 74.4% win, +225% P&L) operate at lower cadence consistent with their multi-session holding periods. Investing (42 signals, 73.8% win, +502% P&L) is the lowest-frequency model, appropriate for long-horizon theses.
The 3-day All Models trial gives subscribers access to all four cadences simultaneously, maximising live signal exposure during the evaluation window.
