Criterion 1 of 5 · Track Record

What counts as a verified trading track record — and how to check it

A track record is verified when a named independent party — separate from the provider and with no commercial relationship — has reviewed the underlying brokerage statements and confirmed that the stated returns, drawdown, Sharpe ratio, win rate, and trade count are accurate.

What does not qualify as verified

  • A screenshot of a brokerage account that anyone could edit
  • A competition leaderboard position without an auditor's sign-off on the full record
  • A third-party platform's tracked P&L without a named auditor's attestation
  • Testimonials from subscribers
  • Self-reported win/loss records on the provider's own website

What does qualify

  • A named auditor's signed attestation covering a defined multi-year period
  • A real-money competition result tracked by the competition organiser (e.g. WCTC) combined with an independent audit of the broader personal record

The multi-year Sharpe ratio is 2.10.
