Build a Forward Signal Observation Log Without Inventing Fills
The first purpose of a log is to preserve what was observable. Keep a hypothetical interpretation separate from actual execution.
Declare the observation boundary
Name the product, selected plan, observation sessions and eligible objects before beginning. A log of public samples is not a private-plan test. A record from unusually available sessions is not proof of ordinary schedule fit.
State what was not observed. Missing access, missed sessions and unavailable original messages affect the claim you can make. They should not disappear when the log is summarized.
Retain the first object
Save the original instruction or notification, its identity where available and its source time as stated. Keep your own receipt and review times separately. Join amendments, cancellations and outcomes to the first object rather than replacing it with the final message.
Do not supply precision that the source lacks. If a screenshot omits a time zone or identifier, record that gap. A useful log can contain unresolved observations without pretending to be complete.
Define eligibility prospectively
Use the product's written validity rule. Decide how the log handles messages reviewed after expiry, missing required fields and conflicting updates before you know outcomes. Do not count only observations with an easy favorable interpretation.
This is an operational research record, not an independent strategy-validation sample. Its interpretation should remain within the declared sessions and evidence available.
Worked case: entry range with several targets
Hypothetical case: an instruction names a range and several possible exits, but the scoring rule is absent. A later price chart reaches one target. That does not by itself establish the eligible entry, selected exit or attainable fill for a buyer.
Keep the instruction and ask for a prospective treatment. Label the case unresolved until the rule can be established. Do not choose a favorable range edge or target after the price path is known.
Separate observations, simulations and fills
An observed message can be genuine while a hypothetical trade interpretation is incomplete. A paper operation can be recorded without being a broker fill. Actual execution needs the relevant account record, with costs and funding context kept at that boundary.
Do not replace a failed or missed action with the provider's displayed entry. The gap between source and subscriber is a finding to explain, not a value to impute.
Summarize with limitations
A conclusion can report which objects were interpretable, which were usable during the sessions and which remain unresolved. Avoid producing a provider win rate from a mixed collection of research observations.
Keep the complete log and the declared rules with the summary. A buyer can use this record to decide whether to request more evidence, continue observing or defer access. No paid product test was performed to create this guide.
Decision Record
| Decision question | Record to retain |
|---|---|
| What was observable? | Original objects and declared sessions |
| Which cases were eligible? | Prospective validity and ambiguity rules |
| Which outcomes are actual? | Separate broker records, if any |

Source Documents and Scope
Primary documents support the stated mechanisms or attributed records. The buying procedure is BSP editorial analysis, not a paid-product, latency or subscriber-performance test.
